Santa Teresa 1796 Rum
For the connoisseur of rum, how about a séjour for the taste buds to Venezuela's Aragua Valley? Its rich and fertile lands and unique climate conditions lend themselves to a mellow yet complexly flavoured rum. Winner of a Gold Medal at the 2020 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, and Venezuelan Rum of the Year at the 2019 Berlin International Spirits Competition, Santa Teresa 1796 boasts a rich, refined and unexpectedly dry taste that evolves with every sip.
Crafted from a blend of rums aged four to 35 years, its rich, amber reddish color delivers a fruity aroma, with notes of honey and dark chocolate. Santa Teresa 1796 offers tobacco and leather notes, toasted and smoky, and a well-rounded balance that can only be achieved through the Solera rum-making method. It's full-bodied while remaining delicate, elegant and velvety. The finish evokes attributes borrowed from the oaks in which it aged.
