Known as "The Family Reserve", this BACARDÍ rum was inspired by a recipe from 1862 and was originally kept for family special occasions, but is now available for the world to enjoy. Complex and irresistibly smooth, BACARDÍ Reserva 8 is also surprisingly mellow, with layered aromas of fig, dried apricot, and oaky vanilla. Tasting, meanwhile, reveals notes of robust butterscotch, caramelised banana, and maple syrup, whilst the finish is long, smooth, and slightly spicy with hints of nutmeg, ginger, and woodfire smoke.
